LGA: The Service Company

The LGA and its brand name stand for a modern group of companies providing testing and other services. Their parent company is the LGA (Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern), a public-law corporation based in Nuremberg, with more than 30 offices in Germany and abroad. The LGA and the companies in its group work independently and impartially for all sectors of business, as well as for private and public clients. The services mainly involve testing and examination, consultancy, certification and training.

Structural analysis

The members of the Structural Analysis Division are responsible for the safety of buildings, bridges, subway tunnels and even roller-coasters. They carry out tests and examinations in the context of official building approvals for the stability of individual construction projects and their fitness for purpose. They also carry out type testing throughout the whole of Bavaria. read more
