With the certificate "tested for harmful substances" manufacturers can document that their products meet the minimum legislative requirements (e.g. Hazardous materials regulations, the chemical prohibition regulation) as well as other LGA test requirements regarding the contents of harmful substances. On successful completion of the basic test and qualification test, the factory where the product is manufactured and the product are inspected annually.
