Sanitary and water separation methods |
 |
Some of the products, components and systems used in sanitary and water separation methods which are tested and monitored by the LGA:
- drinking water taps, shut-off valves, safety valves, sanitary and drain valves
- membrane pressure expansion tanks
- drainage, drainage sets, anti-siphon traps
- bath, shower and whirlpool tubs, luxury showers
- sanitary ceramics: toilets, urinals, cisterns, washbasins and bidets
- cisterns, filling and drainage valves
- pipes, adaptors and special adaptors for drains
- installation components
- cellar draining pumps, lifting plants for waste water with or without faecal matter, return flow inhibitors
- back pressure stoppers, heating oil locks
- petrol separators, coalescence separators, grease separators, sludge traps
- emulsion separators.
We carry out the following tests:
- size checks, thread size, deformation
- flow and drain rate measurements
- loss of pressure measurements
- pump performance
- separation efficiency, determining hydrocarbons
- alternating temperature tests
- pressure, stability and leakage tests
- testing the rinsing function
- re-intake behaviour, low pressure tests
- checking taps for wear behaviour, endurance tests
- static tests
- noise tests for valves
- hygiene tests for whirlpools.
Appraisals of special components and of cases of damage.
